Scoliosis Rehabilitation
The start to living pain-free starts with a one-on-one consultation with one of our chiropractors.
Chiropractor’s at Modern Chiropractic Center will work to:
- Improve severity of scoliosis
- Improve posture
- The correct underlying cause of pain
The foundation of scoliosis correction is structural rehabilitation. Call us To Schedule! (208) 629-1904

Scoliosis is the most complex spinal alignment abnormality that a person can have. It is a true 3-Dimensional deformity of the spine. Very few types of treatment have ever been shown to be effective in improving a scoliosis.
At Modern Chiropractic Center in Boise and Nampa, we have been using methods of rehabilitation including scoliosis specific exercises and scoliosis specific traction that have been very effective at preventing scoliosis from worsening and even getting true structural improvement in the alignment of the spine. The specific exercises we use are a combination of methods used in chiropractic for decades, as well as methods physiotherapists have used extensively in managing scoliosis, predominantly in Europe. Scoliosis specific exercises help strengthen the spine asymmetrically, so that the curve is stabilized into a corrected position.
Spinal traction is particularly beneficial when there is increased stiffness of the scoliosis curve. Almost every adult with scoliosis will benefit from the traction methods to help straighten the spine. But there are even adolescents that have more rigid curvatures that will benefit from traction. Traction helps to loosen the tightened and shortened ligaments that are holding the spine in the abnormal alignment.
