Dr. Joe Betz has been practicing chiropractic in Boise for over 15 years and has had several successful corrective chiropractic clinics in that time. He has a 4-year Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a 4-year Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Betz is a world-renowned in his field serving as a spine researcher, author and seminar instructor, as well as being an active board member for four different non-profit organizations in the chiropractic profession. Although he is a leader within his industry, he makes the health of his patients his top professional priority.

Shelly Betz is a Pennsylvania native who is now proud to call Boise her home. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating, she quickly became passionate about health and wellness when her husband, Dr. Joe Betz, attended Chiropractic college in Atlanta, Georgia. Since moving to Boise in 2002, she became more enthusiastic about teaching the Boise community about chiropractic, nutrition and wellness. She has helped thousands of patients get life-changing improvements in their health over the past 13 years.
Principal Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Katherine Halper, Idaho born and raised, has always had a passion for helping those around her. She took advanced classes in high school to pursue her dreams of becoming a chiropractor at as early an age as possible. She got her Associates degree in Biology: Health Care Emphasis from the College of Southern Idaho, and then proceeded to earn a 4-year Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During her time at Palmer, she was Vice-President of the Chiropractic Biophysics club, became Pettibon certified, and interned and shadowed for many local chiropractors. Most recently she has become one of the only female doctors in the state of Idaho to be certified in Chiropractic Biophysics.
Assistant Manager & Chiropractic Clinical Assistant
Gracie Walker was born and raised in Elko, Nevada where at the young age of 7 years old experienced the benefits of corrective chiropractic care after suffering a neck injury from a fall. At age 20 she followed in her mother’s footsteps and began working as a chiropractic clinical assistant. For the past 6 years she has served in this role in three of the most prestigious corrective chiropractic facilities in the world. She brings with her an insatiable enthusiasm for helping people transform their lives through natural health care.
Sadie is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Boise Idaho, and native to the treasure valley. She graduated from Milan Institute and has been practicing massage therapy for about 4 years now. She is nationally certified through NCTMB and is also a professional Member of ABMP. Sadie offers a wide range of massage modality’s and can modify them to fit her client’s specific needs. Deep tissue, Passive joint mobilization, sports massage, Swedish, along with prenatal and post-partum care are some of the techniques she excels in. Sadie loves to help others strive to be their best and feel their best.
Tessa was born and raised in Eagle Idaho. Right from the age of four, sports were a main priority growing up all the way to playing collegiate soccer for three years. About to finish her Bachelor Degree in History at Boise State, she wants to pursue coaching and teaching at either the high school level or the lower elementary/middle school level. When she’s not at work organizing the patient flow at Modern Chiropractic Center, she loves participating in volleyball, softball, and especially soccer. Her open and friendly personality flourishes when greeting new patients.
Lynnae grew up in Los Angeles, CA where she dedicated many years to her first passion, Ice Skating. She attended college in San Diego,CA and enjoyed being a part of the soft ball team. She graduated from Ashford University and received a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Lynnae has a great passion for music and has attended over 300 concerts in her lifetime. She loves how friendly everyone is in Boise and is excited to able to experience our patients become healthier and happier every day.
